(Note: Although I was Emmy-nominated for "Best Writing" for "Barney & Friends™" (using the name Stephen White) I never won. It's sort of hard to garner awards when you're using monosyllables to teach about the ABCs, numbers, primary colors, and sharing. But the show did win a well-deserved Emmy for sound editing, and we all took turns holding the statuette - see, it really does pay to share!)
